Ingenova supports candidates who serve the public first. We vet every prospective candidate to protect trust, raise standards, and ensure our platform is represented by leaders who are honest, competent, and accountable.

Why we vet

Voters deserve leaders who put integrity over ideology and results over rhetoric. Rigorous vetting keeps special interests out, surfaces conflicts early, and builds confidence that an Ingenova candidate will govern transparently and deliver.

How vetting works

  1. Application & disclosures. Background, financial, and conflict disclosures with signed ethics commitments.
  2. Integrity & conduct screen. Public statements, social media, and past activity against our code of conduct.
  3. Competency interview. Scenario questions testing judgment, critical thinking, and evidence-based decision-making.
  4. Policy case study. Build a short plan using data and lived experience; publishable summary for public review.
  5. Transparency check. Candidate agrees to open meetings, public dashboards, and ongoing conflict reporting.

What we look for

Character, humility, and respect for all constituents. Ability to listen, learn, explain trade-offs, and measure outcomes in public. A commitment to clean funding, no super PAC or special-interest money, and to living our accountability standards.
